Unit Manager at Skaraborgs Sjukhus (2015-2019)

First management role in Sweden. Led 30 to 35 administrative staff spread across three hospitals and two clinical departments, each working in isolation on medical dictation work (transcribing doctors' recorded notes into written records and letters).

Gradually brought the units together to work from a shared backlog. Got the periodic large backlogs under control and lifted morale in the process. Also worked with department management to agree on a realistic peak-season tolerance, so the team wasn't held to impossible standards during the busiest periods.
