Foto’s uit Pakistan

Hierbij een aantal foto’s uit Pakistan, gemaakt door mijn broer Niek. Niek is momenteel bezig namens CRS/Caritas hulp te bieden aan enkele duizenden van de bijna 2 miljoen vluchtelingen uit de Swat Vallei.

Het werk is moeilijk, omdat er maar mondjesmaat fondsen binnen komen. Dit doordat alles wat met Pakistan te maken heeft in het Westen als ‘politiek’ wordt gezien. Men brandt er de vingers liever niet aan.

Here some photos from Pakistan, made by my brother Niek. Niek is working for CRS/Caritas and providing aid to several thousands of the almost 2 million refugees from Swat valley.

It’s hard work, as there is little funding. This is caused by the fact that in the West anything related to Pakistan is considered ‘political’.
